Drive Away CANCERS! Hosts 1stFirst Annual Charity Golf Tournament at The Woodlands Country Club 🏌️‍♀️

The greens of The Woodlands Country Club came alive with purpose and passion as golfers, sponsors, survivors, and supporters came together for the First Annual Drive Away CANCERS! Charity Golf Tournament — a day filled with hope, generosity, and community spirit.


What began as an idea to make a difference through the game of golf turned into a powerful movement that united individuals from all walks of life in the fight against cancer. The event celebrated not only the sport, but also the strength of survivors, the memory of loved ones lost, and the collective drive to create change.


đź’– A Day of Golf, Giving, and Gratitude


From the moment participants arrived, there was a buzz of excitement in the air. The event kicked off with registration, warm welcomes, and plenty of smiles. As teams took to the course, the day became a celebration of both competition and compassion.

Golfers enjoyed a beautiful day on the pristine fairways of The Woodlands Country Club, knowing that every swing contributed to a greater cause. Raffles, contests, and sponsor giveaways added extra excitement throughout the tournament, while heartfelt stories reminded everyone of the real impact behind each donation.


🎗️ Driving Away Cancer — One Swing at a Time


Proceeds from the tournament were dedicated to supporting Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands, an organization that provides vital resources, emotional support, and wellness programs for cancer patients and their families.

Through the generosity of participants, sponsors, and volunteers, the event raised essential funds to help Canopy continue offering its services — including counseling, prosthetics, wigs, scarves, wellness programs, and more.


This event wasn’t just about golf; it was about giving hope. Every putt, drive, and handshake represented another step toward improving the lives of those affected by cancer.


🌸 A Community United by Compassion


What made the day even more meaningful was the strong sense of community connection. Survivors were honored, families were celebrated, and stories of strength and resilience filled the day with inspiration.

Volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure every detail was perfect, while sponsors and local businesses showed incredible generosity in their support. Together, they helped create a memorable and impactful event that truly embodied the spirit of “One Swing at a Time.”
