One Swing, One Heart, One Purpose



On October 7, the fairways of The Woodlands Country Club were filled with excitement, laughter, and a shared sense of purpose as golfers, volunteers, and supporters gathered for the 2nd Annual Drive Away CANCERS! Charity Golf Tournament.


The day wasn’t just about golf — it was about giving hope, celebrating survivors, and making a difference for families affected by cancer. With each swing, participants showed that when a community comes together for a cause, remarkable things can happen.


💖 A Day of Fun, Fellowship, and Purpose


The morning began with beautiful weather and a sense of unity as participants checked in, enjoyed breakfast, and prepared for a day on the greens. The course came alive with friendly competition, team spirit, and pink accents everywhere — a vibrant reminder of the cause at the heart of it all.


From long drives to challenging putts, golfers of all skill levels gave their best efforts, knowing their participation supported something much greater than the game itself. Raffles, contests, and sponsor booths added even more excitement, while smiles and laughter carried through the day.


🎗️ Supporting Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center


Proceeds from this year’s tournament once again benefited the Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, a place of comfort, strength, and healing for patients and families navigating life after diagnosis.

Through the generosity of players, sponsors, and donors, Drive Away CANCERS! continues to make a meaningful impact — helping fund programs that provide wigs, scarves, prosthetics, counseling, wellness activities, and much more to those in need.

Every dollar raised is a step toward hope, healing, and empowerment for those touched by cancer.
